How long does it take to build a pool?

Different sizes of pools take different lengths of time to build and/or install. The length of time it takes to build a pool depends on many factors including the weather, the size of the pool, site condition and the features and options that you select. However, under normal condition, it takes us as fast as 10 days to build a 3 x 6m pool.

How often do I need to test my pool water?

Weekly testing works for most private pools, but with Magiline liner and salt chlorinator only need to test your pH and chlorine levels at least twice monthly. Chlorine should be fed continuously either through a chemical feeding device or salt chlorination.

Is a salt chlorinated system better then the traditional chemical chlorinated system?

Salt chlorinators do have many advantages over the traditional chemical chlorinated system.

Salt chlorinator sanitizes pool water by converting the salt in the water to a chlorine gas, sanitizing your water and then changing back to salt. Also, the salt in the water works as a natural water softener, creating a much more comfortable environment to swim in comparison to the chemical-chlorinated pool. And finally, safety. When it comes to pools, the most important thing is that your family is kept safe from bacteria and algae. Chlorine does not have a long life and therefore even if you test the water for chlorine prior to swimming and find the level is correct, after an hour or so that chlorine could have completely dissipated, leaving the water open for dangerous bacteria. Because a salt chlorinator will continue to sanitize your pool while the pool is in use, the chlorine in the water is constantly being replaced with "new chlorine", keeping the water sanitized at all times and keeping your family safe.

What size pool should I buy?

The size of pool you choose is related to the area available in your garden and, of course depending on your budget. When deciding on a pool size you will need to consider few criteria, such as the access for machinery, underground cables and pipes, overhead telephone and electricity wires, the water table and ground structure.
